Ionic technology
Many aspects of modern living, including air conditioning, contact with man-made fibres and air pollution contribute to a build-up of static electricity in the hair. Even brushing and towel drying the hair, can increase these levels causing the surface of the cuticle to become rough. Consequently, hair may have a dull appearance. Also high levels of static charge cause hair to become ‘fly-away’ and difficult to style. The ion generator produces a stream of negative ions which act to neutralise the static charge, smoothing the scales on the cuticle for shiny, smooth and manageable hair so you can achieve your desired style easily.

Heat settings
There are 30 heat settings. It is recommended to start with the lower temperature for fine, bleached and/or damaged hair, and a higher temperature for curly, thick and/or difficult to style hair. Because every hair type is different, set the appliance at position one when using it for the first time. You can increase the temperature progressively as necessary over the next few uses.

Rotation settings
The styler has a rotating barrel to add smoothness and shine to the hair whilst styling. Activate the rotating direction using the switch located on the top of the styler. Select the rotation direction by pushing the switch in the same direction as you would like to use the styler. Generally when styling the left side of your hair the rotation switch should be to the left and when styling the right side the rotation switch should be positioned to the right. As you close the plates together the barrel will start to rotate. As the barrel rotates, it will make a noise. This is normal.

Removable untangle combs
The removable untangle combs down each side of the styler help to guide your hair, for a more even hairstyle. These can be removed by gently pushing each comb up and off the styler.

Auto shut-off
This appliance has an automatic shut off feature for added safety. If the appliance is switched on for more than 72 minutes continuously, then it will automatically switch off. If you wish to continue using the appliance after this time, simply press the ‘I/O’ button to turn the power on.
